I’m sure that’s what all the girls in sororities say as they go to formals, chapter meetings, and other Greek events. Rush wasn’t too long ago, but you can’t tell because everyone’s borrowing letters, throwing up signs with their hands, using bags, and really just taking whatever they can get their hands on that have their new favorite Greek letter combination on it!
The Big-Little weeks are coming soon, and all of the girls are definitely impatient!
Each of the 6 Panhellenic Council (NPC) sororities:
Alpha Gamma Delta
Sigma Sigma Sigma
Zeta Tau Alpha
Alpha Chi Omega (new this year!)
gave bids to over 50 girls this past January!
Each of the 5 Interfraternity Council (IFC) fraternities:
Delta Sigma Phi
Lambda Chi Alpha
Pi Kappa Alpha
Pi Kappa Phi
gave varying numbers of bids to about 75 lucky guys that rushed!
There was also spring rush (there is fall rush as well) for Alpha Phi Omega, a co-Ed service fraternity here on campus.
And if that isn’t enough, there are also 4 chapters of the “Divine Nine” National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC):
Alpha Kappa Alpha
Delta Sigma Theta
Zeta Phi Beta
Kappa Alpha Psi
If you’re lucky, you too, will be joining these caring people, who donate thousands of hours of community service, and have countless fundraisers for their philanthropies & organizations.
