Biology Club

The Biology Club is open to all HPU students, regardless of their major. We do not charge dues. All that is required is a sincere desire to learn more about the field of biology and a drive to do some community service!

Every fall semester we spotlight Biology majors who were accepted into a summer research internship, and they give a presentation about their experience. The club also hosts guest speakers from a variety of biological backgrounds, such as current medical and graduate students, drug sales representatives, and researchers from neighboring institutions (e.g. Wake Forest University) conducting biological research. There are many ways to get involved on campus, but we feel that the Biology Club is one of the best!

*In past years, we have visited Washington DC, Atlanta, GA, the aquarium in the Outer Banks of NC, and National Aquarium in Baltimore, MD.
