HIGH POINT, N.C., April 13, 2009 – Dr. Richard Parker, associate professor of business in the Plato S. Wilson School of Commerce at High Point University, has been appointed to a four-year term to the Editorial Board of the “American Review of Canadian Studies” (ARCS).
ARCS is the premier Canadian Studies journal in the United States and is published by the Association for Canadian Studies in the U.S.
“There are a number of distinguished scholars on the Editorial Board in varied disciplines from top-tier institutions including Duke University and the universities of Michigan, Maine and Tennessee,” says Parker. “I am honored to be considered for this appointment.”
Parker’s research on Canada focuses on Provincial Tourism Marketing and incorporating Canada into international business education in the U.S. He has made several book review contributions to ARCS over the past few years and currently serves on the editorial review boards of two other journals – the “Southern Journal of Entrepreneurship” and the “Journal for Dispute Resolution in Business.”
