HIGH POINT, N.C., Sept. 21, 2009 – Dr. Edward J. Fuselier Jr. has been hired as assistant professor of mathematics in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at High Point University.
In his new role, Fuselier is responsible for teaching varying levels of mathematics courses, in addition to conducting mathematical research.
“I am often in awe of the beauty and power of mathematics, and I’m excited to share that perspective with my students at HPU,” Fuselier says. “The sense of community created by the faculty and students makes it a truly enjoyable place to teach and work.”
Fuselier holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics from Southeastern Louisiana University and a Doctorate in mathematics from Texas A&M University. He comes to HPU after having taught for three years at the United States Military Academy.
