HPU Community Invited To Submit Works For Inclusion In 'Apogee'

HIGH POINT, N.C., Nov. 2, 2009 ? High Point University staff, faculty and students are invited to submit their original writings for inclusion in the next edition of “Apogee.”

Each person may submit up to two works in each category. The categories include:
- Poems: a maximum of one single-spaced page each;
- Short stories or scenes from novels: a maximum of eight double-spaced pages each;
- Personal essays or creative nonfiction: a maximum of eight double-spaced pages each;
- Scenes from plays, screenplays or teleplays: a maximum of eight double-spaced, formatted pages each.

Please submit all works by Dec. 8.

Works should be submitted as e-mail attachments in Times New Roman font (size 12), to mhodge@highpoint.edu. E-mail messages should include the writer?s name, class (sophomore, etc.), major, hometown, HPU activities, honors, local address, e-mail address and local phone number. Submissions will not be returned to authors.
