HPU Continues To Remain Active During Summer Months, Hosts Many Visitors


HIGH POINT, N.C., July 6, 2010 ? While the majority of students are on summer vacation, High Point University has still been a center of activity ? boasting guests from many states across the nation.

In June alone, the campus hosted nearly 3,000 visitors, thanks to early registration, open house events, campus tours and Summer Experience move-in.

“On any given month, High Point University hosts a great deal of not only potential students, but family members and friends, as well as summer school students,” says Chris Dudley, vice president for administration. “This not only creates a lot of activity on campus, but in the High Point community as well, with visitors taking advantage of the many amenities that our city has to offer.”
