HIGH POINT, N.C., July 9, 2010 ? David Fatheree, a rising senior at High Point University, has landed a summer internship with the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation.
Fatheree is an information security and privacy major, with a concentration in criminal justice and a minor in management information systems. In his internship, Fatheree works with the Digital Evidence Department, the Computer Crimes Department, and the Information Technology Department.
As part of the North Carolina Department of Justice, the SBI has statewide jurisdiction and investigates homicides, robberies, property crimes, and other serious cases.
?This internship has greatly affected my search for potential jobs in the future,? says Fatheree. ?I have the ability to test the waters in an array of different sections within the field of criminal justice. This internship is strengthening my skills and increasing my passion for the SBI.?
