HPU To Observe Patriots Day On SEPT. 11

HIGH POINT, N.C., Sept. 10, 2010 ? High Point University will honor those who perished during the Sept. 11 attacks by flying flags at half-staff for Patriots Day on Saturday, Sept. 11.

All flags on campus will fly at half-staff from sunrise to sunset for a day of service and remembrance.

Additionally, students have planned a time of reflection to take place at noon in the Hayworth Park.

The event is not open to the public.
