HIGH POINT, N.C., Dec. 17, 2010 – Dr. Joseph F. Goeke has been hired as visiting assistant professor of English in the English Department at High Point University.
In his new role, Goeke is responsible for teaching an English course on college writing and public life.
“I am excited to be joining HPU at a time of such phenomenal growth for the school,” Goeke says. “I consider it an honor to be here, and I look forward to contributing what I can to an already inspiring environment.”
Goeke holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Arts degree in English, both from Missouri State University, as well as a Doctorate in colonial and 19th century American literature from the University of South Carolina. He is originally from St. Louis, Mo.
