HIGH POINT, N.C., Dec. 22, 2010 – Dr. Cara L. Kozma has been hired as assistant professor of English in the English Department at High Point University.
In her new role, Kozma is responsible for teaching and developing various courses in both composition and literature.
“I am very excited to join the great staff here at High Point University,” Kozma says. “I look forward to the years to come and hope to develop innovative courses that will contribute to the university’s mission of experiential learning.”
Kozma holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in liberal arts from The Evergreen State College in Washington, a Master of Arts degree in English from Portland State University in Oregon, and a Doctorate in rhetoric and composition from Wayne State University in Michigan. She is originally from Columbia, S.C.
