HIGH POINT, N.C., Feb. 4, 2011 – Ross Roberts was recently joined HPU as an assistant professor of accounting in the Earl N. Phillips School of Business. Roberts earned a Master of Science degree in accounting information systems at the University of Delaware, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from North Carolina A&T State University. He will be receiving his doctorate in accounting from Drexel University in Philadelphia.
In his new position, Roberts will not only teach courses in managerial and cost accounting, but also will serve as an adviser to students majoring in accounting.
“It is very encouraging to be working within a business school, and among business school faculty who have a student focus,” says Roberts.
