HIGH POINT, N.C., April 25, 2011 ? Dr. Martie Bell, exercise and sports science associate professor at High Point University, was recently elected to two positions for the Southern District Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (SDAAHPERD).
In her first position, as a part of the SPAAHPERD Physical Education Association, Bell will be in charge of all programming for the organization?s college-level presentations at their conference in 2012.
Additionally, Bell was elected as the organization?s recording secretary for its executive board in North Carolina.
SPAAHPERD is a national organization that works to promote and support leadership, research, education and practices within health, physical education, recreation and dance professions.
