HIGH POINT, N.C., June 17, 2011 – Tyler Burrows has been hired as an admissions counselor in the Office of Admissions at High Point University.
Burrows, who is a recent graduate of HPU, will serve as the admissions counselor for undergraduate applicants in Delaware and Pennsylvania. In his new position, Burrows will read applications, interview prospective students and work admissions events.
Burrows, originally from Preston, Md., is looking forward to assisting students in their transition to college life at High Point University.
“I am overjoyed to be working for my alma mater,” says Burrows. “High Point University is going through wonderful changes and I hope to be a part of that transition.”
HPU has 879 full-time and full-time-equivalent employees, up 89 percent over 2004. By August of this year, HPU will have more than 1,000 employees.
