HPU Moves Up In Forbes Magazine’s ‘America’s Best Colleges’ List

HIGH POINT, N.C., Aug. 4, 2011 – High Point University has been named as one of the top colleges and universities across the country for the fourth year in a row while improving its ranking in the annual “America’s Best Colleges” list, created by Forbes Magazine. The university moved up 11 spots to No. 497 in the country.

The rankings are based on the quality of the education provided, the experiences of the students and how much students achieve, student satisfaction, postgraduate success, student debt, four-year graduation rate and competitive awards. Colleges and universities that appear on the list must meet high standards.
