HIGH POINT, N.C., Sept. 9, 2011 – Ron Elmore has been hired as director of the Office of Student Financial Planning at High Point University.
As part of his new role, Elmore will be responsible for the administration of HPU’s institutional, state, and federal financial assistance programs. Elmore has more than 25 years of experience in student financial aid administration.
“I have been aware of HPU’s growth these past few years and have been impressed with what the university has been able to accomplish,” says Elmore. “I am excited about being part of this institution and hope to contribute to making it that much better for our students, families, and community.”
Elmore earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of North Texas, and a Master’s degree in higher education from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
