Linthicum Joins IT Team

HIGH POINT, N.C., Oct. 6, 2011 – William E. Linthicum, III was recently hired by the Office of Information Technology at High Point University as an audio/video analyst.

Linthicum will be responsible for providing A/V support throughout campus on a daily basis, ensuring that faculty and students have technologically-advanced equipment for an engaged learning environment.

“I am so grateful for the opportunity to be working at HPU; it’s such a dynamic place to be a part of,” he says. “I am extremely excited about building a career here and making sure that students, faculty and staff have the technology that they need to succeed every day.”

A native of High Point, Linthicum received a Bachelor of Arts in mass communications with a focus in television and video production from North Carolina State University. Upon graduation, he worked at NC State in both the College of Engineering and then the NC State Athletics Department.

In addition to his work at HPU, Will Linthicum looks forward to working with the Men of the YMCA in an effort to accomplish their fundraising goals.
