HIGH POINT, N.C., May 11, 2012 – Mandy Ward has recently been hired in the business office at High Point University as senior accountant.
In her new position, Ward will be responsible for performing financial functions such as financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, fixed assets and grant accounting.
Ward says she looks forward to becoming a part of a growing university.
“I hope to assist in the improvement of various administrative support functions that will have a positive impact on HPU students,” Ward says. “I am very excited to join the HPU family; there is a lot of room for professional and personal growth.”
Ward received a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in administration from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She also holds a Certified Public Accountant accreditation in North Carolina.
In addition to her work at HPU, Ward spends time volunteering in the community with the Special Olympics and the Community Theatre of Greensboro.
