Russell is instructing courses in the computer science curriculum to major and non-major students. He will be involving the students in research as well as supervising their own inquiries.
“I’m thankful for the opportunity to teach at a quality liberal-arts institution like High Point University and the chance to help grow the computer science program and broaden interest in and study of computer science by students of any major,” says Russell.
Russell has expertise in cryptography and computer and information security as he worked for five years as a technology consultant. He has a Bachelor of Arts in math from Hamilton College, a Master of Science in applied math and engineering science from Northwestern University and a Master of Arts and holds a doctorate in computer science from Boston University.
