Junior Achievement Inducts HPU President Nido Qubein into Business Hall of Fame

High Point University President Dr. Nido Qubein inducted into Business Hall of FameHIGH POINT, N.C., Oct. 19, 2012 – Dr. Nido Qubein, High Point University president, was inducted into the Junior Achievement of Central North Carolina’s 2012 Business Hall of Fame for living a life of service and success.

Recipients of this honor are recognized as being outstanding entrepreneurs who serve as role models for youth through professional accomplishments and commitment to the community. Junior Achievement is a nonprofit organization that brings the real world to students through hands-on curriculum delivered by a trained classroom volunteer.

Bonnie McElveen-Hunter, founder and CEO of Pace Communications and former U.S. Ambassador for the Republic of Finland, presented the award to Dr. Qubein.

“Dr. Qubein believes clear vision, solid strategy, practical systems, consistent excellence and time management lead to success, but also attitude leads to success,” McElveen-Hunter said during the award presentation. “He truly understands ‘all we ever really keep is what we give away.’”
