High Point University's Pi Kappa Alpha at Victory JunctionHIGH POINT, N.C., Nov. 14, 2012 – High Point University’s Pi Kappa Alpha recently donated their time to Victory Junction for their Open House and 5K race.

All 45 brothers helped guide runners and facilitate activities such as face painting, corn hole, go karts and mini-golf. This is the third year the fraternity has volunteered for this event.

“The brothers helped put a smile on these kid’s faces and helped give them a sense of hope,” says Andrew Bloomingdale, public relations chair for Pi Kappa Alpha. “It was an extremely successful day and the brothers are already looking forward to helping out again next year.”

Victory Junction is a camp that allows children with medical conditions to attend camp free of cost. The camp is located in Randleman, N.C. and was donated by Richard and Lynda Petty.
