HPU Welcomes McLain as Clinical Counselor

Carrie McLain_low resHIGH POINT, N.C., Feb. 7, 2013 – The Office of Counseling Services at High Point University recently hired Carrie McLain as clinical counselor.

As a counselor in the Office of Counseling Services, which is within the Office of Student Life, McLain is responsible for providing individual counseling to students throughout their time at HPU.

“I hope to help students learn more about themselves,” says McLain. “I also hope to assist them in learning skills that will enable them thrive at HPU and beyond.”

McLain earned a Bachelor of Arts in music from the University of Oregon, a Master of Arts in musicology from Cornell University, and a Master of Science in counseling from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
