02.22.2013

High Point University HPU CommunicationsHIGH POINT, N.C., Feb. 19, 2013 – Greg Berzinski, a senior majoring in communication with a concentration in electronic media at High Point University, recently had the chance to network with top-tier media executives through an internship at the National Association of Television Program Executives (NATPE).

As an intern at NATPE, Berzinski attended sessions on social media networking, helped coordinate large events and was exclusively selected to serve as an escort to high-end executive John Langley, producer and creator of the TV show COPS.

The NATPE is a group dedicated to providing members with education, networking, professional enhancement and technological guidance through year-round activities, timely directories and events; Berzinski was one of a 42 interns who earned the opportunity to help host NATPE’s annual conference in Miami.

“The event was the greatest internship experience of my life,” says Berzinski. “I learned a lot about my field of work through 10 to 12 hour work days at this challenging and dynamic internship.”

“Thanks to the guidance of a couple of dedicated professors at HPU, I was able to make this internship experience a positive one and it certainly helped to jump-start my professional career in the entertainment industry,” says Berzinski.
