High Point University senior Corey Law is in the voting for 2013 Dark Horse Dunker and he needs your support! You can vote once a day at Collegeslam2013.com and the winner of the voting gets to compete in the 2013 College Slam Dunk Championship during the NCAA Final Four.
Law is facing-off against Elizabeth City State’s Angelo Sharpless in the semifinals. Voting for the semifinals ends Monday, March 11 and the championship starts the same day. Fans can vote at Facebook.com/collegeslam or Collegeslam2013.com.
Law was selected for his “dynamic combination of power and elevation” shown in his submission video. The official statement reads: “Law flashes the in-game ability to dunk over anyone, and on the practice court, he can close a between-the-legs jam with ease.”
Originally from Chesapeake, Va., Law helped lead High Point to the Big South Conference North Division championship and a program-record 12 league wins in 2012-13. He is HPU’s No. 2 rebounder in the Div. I era and has averaged 8.1 points per game in his collegiate career.
