Sorority Raises $15,000 for Breast Cancer Research

HPU High Point University ZTAHIGH POINT, N.C., April 16, 2013 – High Point University’s Zeta Tau Alpha sorority raised $15,000 for breast cancer research and awareness at their Eighth Annual Crown Classic Golf Tournament.

More than 180 golfers attended the tournament at the Holly Ridge Golf Links. Participants enjoyed multiple rounds of golf, free food and a complimentary gift while achieving an important goal – increasing breast cancer awareness and raising thousands of dollars for research.

“Our golf tournament was a great success,” says tournament organizer Brittany Dietz. “The weather was wonderful, and everyone had a great time. It wouldn’t have been possible without the wonderful support from the community and the donors. Thank you to everyone who contributed.”

Zeta Tau Alpha’s national philanthropy, breast cancer education and awareness, includes its partnerships with the National Football League, Yoplait Yogurt and Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Think Pink is a registered trademark of Zeta Tau Alpha.
