At last year’s golf tournament, HPU student and Zeta Tau Alpha sorority member Kara Kosmorsky stood between her father and younger brother by a hole they sponsored in honor of her grandmother, Nancy Kosmorsky, who died of cancer.

HIGH POINT, N.C., April 1, 2013 – High Point University’s Zeta Tau Alpha sorority will raise money and breast cancer awareness with their 8th annual Crown Classic Golf Tournament.

The tournament will be held at the Holly Ridge Golf Links on April 6. Tee times are scheduled for 8 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Team entry fees are $75 for adults and $45 for students. For a $20 donation, a member of Zeta Tau Alpha will serve as a personal caddy for the event. Fees include the tee time, food and a complimentary gift.

“Our annual golf tournament has always been a great success,” says Brittany Dietz, ZTA member. “We get to raise money for an amazing cause that we are very passionate about, and that really shows during our event.”

Golfers can register by contacting Dietz at dietzb09@highpoint.edu. Non-golfers can also contribute by sponsoring a hole, purchasing sign in honor of a loved one or by just giving a donation.
