HIGH POINT, N.C., July 23, 2013 – The department of Physician Assistant Studies in the School of Health Sciences at High Point University welcomes Dr. Mark Archambault as the new Director of Research and associate professor of physician assistant studies.
In his new position, Archambault will help create HPU’s developing PA program by chairing the admissions committee and designing an evidence-based medicine and master project curriculum.
“HPU PA students will build exceptional professional writing skills and enjoy their journey to success in the area of medical writing,” says Archambault.
Archambault has experience starting new physician assistant programs and is excited to start working at HPU. He received his Doctorate of Health Science from Nova Southeastern University in Fla., his Master of Health Science from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree from Lycoming College in Pennsylvania.
This is one of 14 new faculty positions at HPU for the 2013-14 academic year.
