Independence Day 2013

As you celebrate the Fourth of July holiday with your friends and family, we invite you to view a special Independence Day message from High Point University above.

HPU is proud to educate students who hail from 47 states, and honors the nation’s history year-round with 4 sculptures of historic presidents on campus, including two of the country’s Founding Fathers – George Washington and Thomas Jefferson – who signed the Declaration of Independence.

The High Point University community will observe the national holiday on July 4 by flying all 34 American flags on campus at full-staff to honor the birthday of the United States, and the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776.
