ZTA Sorority Honored at National Conference

ZTA Delta Gama AwardsHIGH POINT, N.C., Aug. 7, 2013 – The Zeta Tau Alpha chapter at High Point University was recently honored with three awards during ZTA’s National Leadership Conference.

The chapter received the Helping Hands Award for helping to establish a new chapter at Appalachian State University. The sisters assisted with recruitment parties and initiation for the new chapter.

They also received the Crown Chapter Award, given to chapters that attain a standard of excellence each year, and the Quota/Total Award for reaching a new member quota and maintaining maximum chapter total during the school year.

“National Leadership Conference was a motivating experience that helped us reflect on ZTA’s values and develop effective leadership skills,” says HPU chapter president Kristen Miller. “We are thrilled to receive multiple awards and feel inspired to strive for new goals as a chapter.”
