SGA Donates $5,000 to United Way

Posted on December 27, 2013.

HIGH POINT, N.C., Dec. 27, 2013 – High Point University’s Student Government Association (SGA) has donated $5,000 to the United Way of Greater High Point.

This was a specific student effort that contributed to the $200,000 that HPU donated through its annual campaign this year.

The association has made it a point to give back to the community in various ways.

“We do this because not only do we believe in the mission of the United away, but we also know the impact the organization has on the High Point Community,” says Tyler Steelman, SGA president.
