Belk Joins HPU Admissions

01.22.2014

HIGH POINT, N.C., Jan. 22, 2014 – The Office of Undergraduate Admissions at High Point University recently hired Whitney Belk as the admissions phone counselor.

Belk is responsible for serving as a point of reference regarding applications, campus visits and admissions for prospective HPU students and parents.

Belk says her experience as a student ambassador in college led her to discover her passion for working with prospective college students.

“I feel so fortunate to be joining the HPU admissions team and to be interacting with potential students,” says Belk. “I fell in love with the admissions process in college, and I consider it very special to be doing what I love, which is helping people to have a positive experience.”

Belk, a native of Monroe, N.C., received a Bachelor of Arts in psychology with a minor in leadership studies from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
