HPU Welcomes Mitsler as Senior Admissions Counselor

01.6.2014

HIGH POINT, N.C., Jan. 6, 2014 – Julee Mitsler has recently been hired as a senior admissions counselor at High Point University.

Mitsler, along with others on the admissions team, serves as the face of HPU during visits to high schools and college fairs. She works with many out-of-state guidance counselors and families in an effort to let more students know about HPU. Mitsler will also assist with implementation of new enrollment technology software programs.

“I’m excited to be part of a university that has been setting, achieving and surpassing goals,” Mitsler says. “One of the things I appreciate most about the HPU community is the value placed on creating meaningful relationships. I know what it’s like being far away from home during your college years, and I look forward to serving as a resource and support for students in many capacities.”

Mitsler earned a Bachelor of Arts in communication studies from Christopher Newport University. Prior to her role at HPU, she worked as an admission officer at Christopher Newport University.
