HIGH POINT, N.C., Feb. 27, 2014 – High Point University will host two open houses in the Wilson Commerce Ballroom March 13. This will be the first open house for the Doctor of Pharmacy program, which will be held from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The second will be held for Norcross Graduate Programs in the Wilson Commerce Ballroom from 5 to 5:45 p.m. and 5:45 to 6:30 p.m.
Prospective pharmacy students will get the chance to meet the Dean of the School of Pharmacy, Dr. Ron Ragan. He will provide an overview of the development of the program, review the required pre-requisite courses for the curriculum and go over application requirements.
“This is one of the most dynamic and exciting times in the history of pharmacy,” says Ragan. “Our health system is undergoing a major change and the opportunities for pharmacy professionals over the next twenty years are limited only by our imagination. I invite you to join us at the High Point University open house and see how we are planning to prepare students to practice pharmacy in 2020 and beyond.”
Current faculty and students from the Norcross Graduate School will be on hand at the general open house to answer any questions and provide details about the degrees as well as demonstrate hands-on interactive projects that are gained from the different programs.
Students interested in either open house can RSVP on HPU’s website: www.highpoint.edu/graduate/openhouse
