Dr. Tjai Nielsen Gives Productivity Advice on Fox 8 News

HIGH POINT, N.C., May 12, 2014 – Dr. Tjai Nielsen, associate professor of management at High Point University, is being featured on WGHP Fox 8 in a month-long series of segments about increasing productivity management.

Each week, Tjai has visited the live news studios at Fox 8 to offer viewers insight on how to more effectively manage their busy lives and improve their productivity. Throughout the series, he has offered tips such as stepping back to visualize big-picture goals, prioritizing activities related to accomplishing those goals, and taking time to celebrate success. Future segments will feature Nielsen offering insight on breaking bad habits and establishing new, more effective behaviors.

“Working with Fox 8 and anchor Julie Grant to bring viewers some new insights on improving their productivity has been an excellent experience,” Nielsen says. “Julie is a consummate professional and has made the process very enjoyable. I am very much looking forward to working with Fox 8 on future television segments.”

Nielsen joined HPU in 2012 and teaches classes on leadership, leadership development, and change management among others. His research on leadership and high performing organizational teams has been recognized with multiple awards.

HPU faculty in the Phillips School of Business are frequently featured in media outlets as experts on topics such as leadership, executive development, accounting, entrepreneurship, finance, commerce and marketing.

Nielsen’s next appearance on WGHP Fox 8 is scheduled for the 7 to 8 a.m. hour on May 13. View each of his previous segments with Fox 8 below.
