Admissions Hires Loveday-Donovan

HIGH POINT, N.C., July 24, 2014 – High Point University’s Office of Undergraduate Admissions recently hired Jennifer Loveday-Donovan as senior admissions counselor. Loveday-Donovan will be an admissions counselor for the Piedmont and Triad area. She will aid students and parents as they begin their journey through the admissions process at HPU.

Loveday-Donovan worked previously as a high school government teacher and was an adjunct professor at The Citadel Military College of South Carolina. In addition to her teaching background, she worked for the U.S. Senate and the Scottish Parliament. She also won both the Miss South Carolina and Mrs. South Carolina pageants, among other crowns.

Blending education and life experience, Loveday-Donovan brings a well-rounded perspective to the admissions office.

“My personal motto is ‘One’s future is defined by the dedication to our dreams,’” says Loveday-Donovan. “I know that HPU is on the forefront of modern higher education, and I am excited to help bring students to the university that are focused on achieving their own dreams.”

Loveday-Donovan received her Bachelor of Arts in political science from the College of Charleston. She also has a Master of Arts in education-political science and criminal justice, as well as a Master of Arts in teaching-social science from The Citadel Military College of South Carolina. She is currently working toward her doctorate degree in educational leadership from Walden University.
