Allen Joins Information Technology Department

HIGH POINT, N.C., Aug. 7, 2014 – High Point University recently hired Glenwood Allen II as a business analyst in the Office of Information Technology.

Allen will be responsible for analyzing existing systems and business processes, identifying process and system improvement strategies, and providing project management services.

As an expert in business process improvement, Allen has had many jobs to prepare him for his career at HPU. He has more than 20 years of experience in banking, as well as working as a business and technical consultant for multiple banks and independent entrepreneurs.

Allen is excited to begin his new job at HPU and take part in its extraordinary experience.

“I am really excited to be a part of a university with such a vibrant mission, ‘be extraordinary,’” says Allen. “In the days to come, I am truly looking forward to working with the HPU family on the multitude of initiatives that will foster that extraordinary experience.”

Allen has a Bachelor of Science in business administration with a concentration in finance and a Bachelor of Science in accounting, both from North Carolina A&T State University.
