Russell will coordinate many on and off campus programs that connect students with their peers and the community.

Russell is looking forward to using her new job at HPU to inspire students’ passions.

“I look forward to developing programs and operating top notch facilities to guide students toward their goals, all while integrating learning and fun to create a passion for life,” says Russell. “I want to create events that students will always remember they participated in as an HPU Panther.”

Russell received her Bachelor of Science in parks and recreation management from Appalachian State University, as well as a Master of Science in community recreation from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
