HIGH POINT, N.C., Aug. 6, 2014 – High Point University recently hired Christopher Peele as a success coach in the Freshman Success Program.

Peele is responsible for assisting incoming freshmen in the transition from high school to college. He will focus on students majoring in biology, chemistry, biochemistry and physics.

Having previously worked in academic advising at Clemson University, Peele enjoys helping students achieve their educational goals.

“I will help freshmen transition smoothly to High Point University by providing insight on their respective curriculum and by connecting students to social and extracurricular opportunities on campus,” says Peele.

Peele is happy to become a part of the HPU team and use his skills to aid students.

“High Point University is continually growing and enhancing the education, programs and services offered to students,” Peele says. “I am excited to work in that kind of atmosphere with such extraordinary students, faculty and staff.”

Peele received his Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He also holds a Master of Education in counselor education with a concentration in student affairs from Clemson University.
