HIGH POINT, N.C., Sept. 19, 2014 – High Point University welcomes Randy Moser to the faculty of the Phillips School of Business as an assistant professor of the practice in marketing.
Moser comes to HPU with 35 years of Global Fortune 500 work history in marketing and sales. He teaches courses in professional selling, sales leadership, principles of marketing and marketing management. He is also involved in the HPU Sales Club.
He is an expert in professional sales, sales leadership, marketing and work-life balance. He has received numerous awards for performance and service to organizations both on the civic and professional arena.
Moser says he hopes to build a bridge between academics and the real world through the subjects he teaches by using relevant applications and realistic market scenarios.
“I’ve spent an entire career preparing for this opportunity to mentor, coach, nurture, educate and challenge students to see the value sales and marketing bring to the success of the enterprise,” he says. “I hope to create a learning environment that is engaging, fun and memorable into my students’ career pursuits.”
He has coached the owners of small and mid-sized companies in work-life balance, identifying blind spots in their businesses and personal accountability.
Moser holds a Bachelor of Science in landscape architecture from Penn State University and a Master of Business Administration in Marketing from Temple University.
