HPU Hosts Blood Drive for American Red Cross

HIGH POINT, N.C., Jan. 15, 2015 – High Point University students, faculty and staff impacted 270 lives by donating 90 pints of blood at the university’s blood drive.

HPU holds several blood drives every year to support the American Red Cross.

“Conducting a blood drive at the start of the new semester was a lot of fun and a great way to engage the student body,” says Nia Page, student president of HPU’s Volunteer Center. “Saving lives and helping others is a top priority of the Volunteer Center.”
