HPU Recognized in ‘Colleges of Distinction’

HIGH POINT, N.C., June 22, 2015 – High Point University has been named to the 2015-16 Colleges of Distinction list, a unique college guide that honors institutions with an innovative, teacher-centered undergraduate education and a strong record of preparing graduates for real-world success. This is the fifth consecutive year HPU has been included on the list.

The Colleges of Distinction list is based upon exemplary commitment to four distinctions: engaged students, great teaching, vibrant communities and successful outcomes. The distinction reflects HPU’s values-based, holistic education model. HPU is one of only nine universities in North Carolina to be named to the list.

“High Point University is honored to be recognized for our mission to prepare students for the world as it’s going to be,” says Dr. Nido Qubein, HPU president. “Our most treasured affirmation comes from the parents who entrust us with their student and our graduates who go on to lead lives of significance.”
