Greensboro Symphony to Present ‘Tchaikovsky Spectacular’ at HPU

HIGH POINT, N.C., Feb. 19, 2016 – High Point University invites the community to a special performance of the Greensboro Symphony featuring some of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s greatest music. The concert will be held at 7:30 p.m. on March 3 in the Pauline Theatre of the Hayworth Fine Arts Center. The event is open to the public; tickets are required.

Led by Resident Conductor Nate Beversluis, the symphony will feature music from Tchaikovsky’s famous “1812 Overture” and “Sleeping Beauty Suite.” It also will present a fresh take on the composer’s Symphony No. 1, “Winter Dreams,” paired with a multimedia montage by internationally renowned Russian artists Lyuba and Aleksander Titovets.
