Internship: During her time at the American Diabetes Association, Houston was in charge of the food and drink donations for a walk in October. She also attend events and made phone calls. During her internship at the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Houston was responsible for data entries and attending fundraising meetings with runners.

How HPU helped you get there: “The classes I took for my major and the professors who taught me at HPU helped me feel confident entering into my field after graduation.

What has your internship experience been like, and how is it preparing you for your future: “I had two very different experiences at my internships that helped guide me in what direction I want to be after graduation.”
