HIGH POINT, N.C., Oct. 5, 2018 – High Point University welcomed a new faculty member to the Phillips School of Business.
Dr. Rhonda Butler, Assistant Professor of Management
Dr. Rhonda Butler teaches principles of management and organizational behavior, leadership and work teams in organizations. She is passionate about helping students grow, equipping them for successful careers, and inspiring them to do great work that makes a difference in corporate America and the world. Her mission is to train the next generation of effective managers and encourage the rise of extraordinary, world-changing leaders. She has developed courses that provide a combination of knowledge on management concepts, real world applications, leadership emphasis and experiential learning.
She has earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting and a second bachelor’s degree in management from North Carolina State University; an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte; a Master of Religion (counseling psychology) from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary; and Ph.D. in leadership studies (organizational leadership and management) from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.
