Top 50 National Presidents
Great Value Colleges has named Qubein in the national Top 25 in their list of Top 50 college presidents. The publication notes that a college president is not just the head, but the heart of an institution.
“A president’s leadership style, temperament, attitudes and objectives form a major part of how the school that they represent is perceived. And this list will show you which college presidents have been the most effective, the most influential and have the most admiration.”
Regarding Qubein, the list notes:
“Qubein’s leadership of the college has involved partnering closely with his faculty and staff to deliver the opportunities that his students really need. And he teaches all students, regardless of major, a special class named ‘The President’s Seminar on Life Skills.’ This collaborative, inclusive approach to running a college has had serious results.”
The publication used data from The Washington Post, TIME, The Chronicle of Higher Education, Forbes, US News, and more to compile the list.
