HIGH POINT, N.C., July 11, 2019 – High Point University’s continued growth was enhanced recently by Julie and Kevin Valentine of Bernardsville, New Jersey.
The Valentine family has given a generous gift to support the HPU Fund for Extraordinary Education and establish the Valentine Family Endowed Scholarship.
“We are most grateful for the support of our parents, families and alumni who value HPU’s God, family and country focus and give generously to provide scholarship aid for our outstanding students,” says HPU President Nido Qubein.
Recipients of the Valentine Family Endowed Scholarship will be selected on the basis of financial need from eligible undergraduate students.
Julie and Kevin’s oldest son, Gunnar, graduated from HPU in May 2019. Their twin sons, Graham and Grayson, are members of the Class of 2021.
“Following in the very philanthropic steps of the children’s maternal grandparents, David and Jill Farris, we are proud to make this gift to High Point University,” says Julie. “We are most excited to help future students in meeting their educational goals.”
