The student-produced event features modern and contemporary pieces with choreography by students Grace Ann Letzinger, Lynn Cole, Liv Huang and Samantha Bridge, alumni guest artist Mal Verez, and faculty Michele Trumble, Emily Crofford, and Christine Stevens.
“Showcasing a variety of contemporary and jazz dances, the HPU Fall Dance Concert is choreographed and performed by HPU students, alumni and faculty,” says Christine Stevens, adjunct instructor for the Department of Theatre and Dance at HPU. “The concert gives both new and experienced choreographers, performers and designers valuable experience in working with different artistic styles, while sharing an evening of dance with the community.”
Each performance also offers an opportunity to give back, as attendees are invited to donate school supplies for Fairview Elementary School in High Point.
