The Bonner Leader Program

All About Molly House

My name is Molly House and I am junior majoring in Business Administration here at High Point University. I am originally from Winter Garden, Florida just a few minutes away from Orlando. My role as a Bonner Leader includes attending weekly meetings as well as working at my service site twice a week. I chose the Macedonia Family Resource Center as my service site because I get to work with children and help them grow academically. At the Macedonia Family Resource Center, I work as the Volunteer Coordinator for a program called Learning Together, where we have about 15-20 children each week who are normally children of refugee families. While their mothers are learning English as well as life skills, we help the children with their homework. It has been a very rewarding experience for me as I get to foster relationships with the children as well as learn about myself and my leadership skills. I am looking forward to my time as a Bonner Leader and seeing just how much our program can help develop the High Point community through student-led service.
