Earl N. Phillips School of Business

First Year Navigators

The Earl N. Phillips School of Business First Year Navigator Program is an organization made up of highly motivated and driven sophomore, junior, and senior business majors who have successfully become a part of High Point University’s School of Business, and are passionate about assisting freshmen to do the same.  Making the transition into college can be difficult.  Having a person to reach out to within your major is a very important asset to one’s education. The goal of this program is to help freshmen transition into college life by providing opportunities for student engagement through social and service opportunities within the business school.

Our First Year Navigators schedule activities and informational sessions to connect new business majors with their classmates and to expose them to different business scenarios, events, and university procedures.  In its third year this year, the program has been successful in bringing an additional level of support to our freshman business majors on campus.
