December 9, 2009 - 6:00 pm (ET) - Lessons and Carols Service
This special candlelight service will feature members of the University community, Dr.Alexa Schlimmer, Dr. Marc Foster, the Chapel Choir and the University Singers. Alpha Delta Theta and Delta Iota Alpha will serve as ushers and greeters. The service is based on the traditional Festival of Lessons and Carols at King’s College, Cambridge,England.
January 18, 2010 - 11:00 am (ET) - Martin Luther King, Jr Day Service The service will be delivered by special guest speaker, the Reverend H. Beecher Hicks, senior minister of the 6,000-member historic Metropolitan Baptist Church in Washington, D.C. Dr. Louise Toppin, soprano, and the Genesis Gospel Choir will provide the music. Kappa Alpha Psi, Delta Sigma Theta, Alpha Kappa Alpha and
Zeta Phi Beta will serve as worship leaders and ushers.
April 28, 2010 - 5:30 pm (ET) - Senior Service
The Chapel Choir will provide the music for this final service of the academic year. The Class of 2010 will be our special guests. The Board of Stewards and Alpha Phi Omega fraternity will serve as worship leaders and fellowship hosts.Dr. Hal Warlick, Dean of the Chapel, will be preaching.
