Tickets

Onward with Faithful Courage

Complimentary tickets are required for this event, and must be picked up in advance. Each candidate for graduation is permitted a maximum of three tickets (the graduate and two guests).

Tickets are limited and are available on a first come, first served basis.

Tickets may be picked up during normal office hours (8:30am-7:00pm Monday-Friday and 10:00am-4:00pm Saturday) from April 30 to May 7 at the Slane Concierge Desk.

August and December 2014 candidates for graduation who are not able to pick up tickets at the designated locations are asked to contact the Campus Concierge at (336) 841-4636.

Baccalaureate

Baccalaureate is for High Point University candidates for graduation, their families and guests, and university faculty, staff, students and special guests. It is not open to the general public.

Graduation Ceremony

Tickets are not required for the Graduation Ceremony, unless there is inclement weather (see rain plan).

In the event of inclement weather,

  • The Graduation Ceremony will be held in the Millis Athletic/Convocation Center and will be delayed until 9:30 a.m. Due to space limitations in the Millis Center, each candidate for graduation is permitted a maximum of three rain tickets (the graduate and two guests).  Rain Tickets may be picked up during normal office hours (8:30am-7:00pm Monday-Friday and 10:00am-4:00pm Saturday) from April 30 to May 7 at the Slane Concierge Desk.
  • In the event of rain, the Graduation Ceremony will also be broadcast via closed-circuit television at the Hayworth Fine Arts Center, the Wanek Center Extraordinaire Cinema, and Phillips Hall Francis Auditorium.
